Before the joint venture, Eurofiber was a customer of Cloudteam Company and thought the next logical step would be implementing Certinia’s solution within the joint venture.

The implementation included Certinia’s Order Procurement, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, and Accounting solutions. This would ensure that Vattenfall Eurofiber would achieve the same operational agility that Eurofiber had experienced before the joint
venture.

Maintaining Clear Visibility

With a combination of resources, Vattenfall Eurofiber needed a solution to manage and maintain clear visibility of their entire district heating infrastructure while also accounting for new fiber optic supplies and infrastructure from Eurofiber.

This was efficiently managed with Certinia’s Order Procurement and Inventory Management solution. Native to Salesforce, OPI simplifies, optimizes, and leverages inventory data at every stage of the fulfillment process. This enables Vattenfall Eurofiber to support multiple fulfillment models, easily track open orders, and monitor fulfillment, costs, and profits, all within the Salesforce platform.

In conjunction with OPI, Vattenfall Eurofiber also utilizes Certinia’s Accounting solution, enabling different departments to operate as a cohesive, centralized unit by basing their decisions on the same real-time financial data. With these two modules integrated into the Salesforce platform, management can develop optimized metrics from past fiber optic connections and financial data, thereby enhancing
overall supply chain productivity and steering company growth.
