Salesforce Implementation Consultant -Accounting

The Role

Cloudteam Company is currently searching for an experienced, energetic consultant with strong accounting, communication skills and knowledge of financial applications. The consultant will be responsible for implementing and train FinancialForce Accounting at customer’s sites. Occasionally travelling within the region will be part of the job. A background in finance / accounting is required, including experience with accounting applications and conducting business process reviews.

  • Participate in creating value driven business cases.

  • Contribute to Statements of Work, work breakdown structures and/or level of effort and staffing plans.

  • Understand the client’s Accounting process requirements and translate the requirements into functional specifications for custom development and functional extension.

  • In-depth knowledge of solution activation methodologies and best practices.

  • Lead solution design aspects of engagement(s).

  • Craft and articulate strategic solutions.

  • Perform (remote) implementations of the FFA modules, possibly together with a team of consultants. Projects are composed of Business Process Redesign sessions followed by the implementation, configuration, training, set up of reports, data migration and general support.

  • Understand and implement complementary 3rd party applications as part of the overall ERP implementation project.

  • Influence customer leadership in acceptance of company’s solutions and services.

  • Work closely with customers from a technical and commercial standpoint and be able to deal with customer issues.

  • Prepare and deliver (custom) training sessions and helping customers develop the skills and confidence to use our products with ease.

  • Build long term relationship and trust.

  • Build and maintain a network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge.

Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years’ experience in mid-market or enterprise accounting system implementations​

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong accounting knowledge

  • Experience in General Ledger administrations

  • Ability to work in a fast changing, team environment

  • Skilled in financial applications, ideally in combination with Salesforce knowledge and/or Cloud ERP solutions

  • Master University Degree in Finance is required
